Ready or Not!!! I’ll be taking the holidays off, from school and life. I figured out several years ago that no one really noticed or cared if I didn’t show up to any functions, didn’t send cards or buy gifts. So, I don’t. I refuse to participate in crazy retail events filled with cranky, stressed out people who have the flu. I refuse to drag myself to uncomfortable parties and get togethers when I’d rather be home in my pajamas on my couch. I only do what I truly want to do for “the season.” I use the time off to work on my house, relax, and enjoy hanging out with my dogs and husband and catch up on life. I don’t even decorate anymore, cause you just have to clean it up anyway. The holidays slip by here with barely a bump, and that’s ok with us.
Posting has been light lately, and for that I apologize. I’ve been buried under papers for school. There is a light at the end of the tunnel though, only one big one left for English and one easy one for ASL. Feeling pretty accomplished, I do believe I am actually going to pull off all A’s this semester!! Yay me!
For those of you who have actually been reading my blog - thanks so much, kind of exciting. I am going to figure out how to link my Psychology term paper here, so that if you want you can check it out. It was on how physical appearance can affect animal behavior. Fun stuff.
This week I plan on sharing with you some of the dog stories of my youth, cause I’ve had some super special dogs that did really weird things. Perhaps I’ll also start posting an actual training series - if any of you have questions, put them in a comment for this post and I’ll pick some to answer.
I hope that you all enjoy the holiday week, don’t eat too much crap that you’ll regret, and more importantly - hang out with your dog and enjoy yourself!
