A Lot. All the time. She licks Dyson’s ears, she licks Josh’s feet, she licks any available skin, occasionally the cat, whatever. It’s like some frustrated nursing behavior, she’ll grab ahold of someone’s foot and lick it until she falls asleep. It’s disgusting, I know, but you try and stop her. She even managed to lick inside Dyson’s ears while she had a cone on her head from her nose surgery. Amazing, even the vet said, “That dog’s not right.” You’re telling me this?

So my latest project has been to get her stop licking poor Dyson’s ears. He tried to get her to stop, but, well, she’s insane. I put bitter apple on his ears, we tell her leave it, I redirect her and give her other commands. I finally made a dent in her brain that perhaps she should stop licking his ears. Finally, she laid down on the rug next to him, I turned to finish brushing my teeth, and damned if I didn’t turn around and she was licking his eyeballs. People wonder why I give up with her.
