Note that the cats are IN the cage and the bird is not. I routinely let the bird out in the morning to pillage the living room while I feed everyone else. I came back to this - two cats in the bird cage, the bird looks as puzzled as I was. Note also that pets who are not the bird are often in the birdcage. This next picture is one of my bird chasing a very small dog named Koochooloo. They were actually playing but if you look in the background, in the upper right hand corner, you’ll notice a small black dog in the birdcage - Teak.
It’s nice that I have a bird for the bird cage, but perhaps everyone should get one as a jungle gym for their dogs and cats. Whatever, I just feed them.
