Dog Training….Unraveled

More of Jester’s adventures

Continued from “Jester’s Adventures”

Same day, same place, just a few minutes later. Pug boy decides to go “over there,” wherever that is. I’m thinking, “he’s already pooped, what else could he possibly need up on those cliffs?” And off he went, and of course, I stood there and took pictures. Perhaps he’ll do something even more amazing.

You’ll notice Josh in the last picture. Dog is stuck. Dog has gotten himself out on a ledge and discovered that he is indeed, not agile. He didn’t get the memo that pugs do not climb rocks. So I send out my new husband - “Will you please rescue my dog?”

Note wonderful new husband perched precariously on a rock to reach for stranded pug.

Note that lovely new husband is now on the ground. Poor Josh fell down and cracked his knee, but the dog is safe. Even though Teak headed out to “help” both dogs and husband eventually made it back safely. It was too far out for me to do anything other than yell “Honey, are you ok?” and click away thus capturing the adventure for our future kids. And for all the people out there who appear shocked that a seemingly sane man would marry me. Luckily for Jester, Dad is a big supporter of “Pug Rescue.”
