With people who book their dog for a stay at my HOME, not a kennel, over a month in advance, and then call THE DAY BEFORE THE DOG IS TO BE HERE and cancel. Never mind that I was counting on that money, or that I turned down other dogs because I limit the number of extra dogs here to two so that no one goes insane. Never mind that I have gone above and beyond for your doggie in the past, who has to be schlepped home twice a day to be let loose in her yard because she WILL NOT go to the bathroom while on a leash. Never mind that I never charged you for all those extra trips, twice a day, to your house. Never mind that when you started training, you haggled with me on an already discounted price, promising me that you were going to be doing “lots of lessons and training” and then only completed two lessons (AND had the audacity to suggest that I should call you when I had free time and suggest we get together - that’s just not how it works, friend. This is a business, not myspace.) Never mind that you have been sucked into the largest dog training scam in the county and they will be happy to take your credit card number and tell you your doggie was “just fine” while you were away. When in reality, she will most likely have a breakdown because she is neurotic, unstable, and randomly tries to bite everyone except you. I wonder if they will tell you how unsafe your dog is in public, and that really, she should be muzzled whenever she is around anyone other than you, or if they will simply sugarcoat her problems and offer you a miraculous cure for a small additional fee. And then they will wonder why you never do your follow ups, and why your dog never gets any better. And you, you will be out several thousand more dollars, and you still won’t have learned a thing. Good luck.
