But happy. Q is home and life is good. We are getting the hang of it, and I can see now why you should just not plan anything for the first few weeks – not even showers. Care for baby, then sleep, then maybe eat if you’re feeling fancy, and then, if baby sleeps, maybe you can get a shower in. The dogs are doing okay, desperately need to get out and play ball, but they’ve been very patient with all the schedule weirdness and random sleeping going on around here. Dyson really likes the baby, and her boppy, and stays close to us both.

The pugs are a bit jealous of all the lap time baby is getting, but I think are getting used to her. Karma I think is plotting to lead the baby out into the street. We thought Karma would be thrilled, but she’s disgusted by the noise and not happy with all the attention that Q is getting. Of course we are trying to keep things as normal as possible for them, but it’s hard when you’re sleeping in 30 minute snatches through out the day.
All in all, it’s going well, except I am really too tired to make any witty remarks or deep statements – so instead, here are some cute baby pics.
