Ok, so I probably should have posted this ON her birthday, but since she can’t work the computer yet, she’ll never know. Karma turned 6 on April 27, and to celebrate we dressed her up in pink bows and brought yummy cookies to share with the flyball team. Now, I don’t normally make a big […]

Kids being kids though, I certainly wouldn’t be surprised if I have to utter these words in her direction.
1) Please don’t eat the snails.
2) Good girl for pooping outside!
3) Stop scrounging under the birdcage.
4) Did you piss on the couch again?
5) Stop nose raping the cat! (For Teak, and her incessant need to try to […]

Heehee - my dog cracks me up. Sometimes I am glad I don’t have a yard so I don’t have to teach Dyson that it’s not always appropriate to dig. The canyon is free game - he can dig till his hearts content.
While the rest of the world waits breathlessly for spring to start sharing […]

I happened to look down at Jester today and suddenly realized it’s been ten years. Ten years that he has faithfully followed me around, indulging in my every whim, making sure no crumbs are left sad and homeless, dutifully curling up next to me every night under the covers. Ten years. That’s a long time. […]

Sweet, elegant, sophisticated Karma woke me up this morning to the lovely sound of a dog trying to turn it’s intestines inside out. She vomited up a pile of shit - as in poo, feces, excrement. She barfed up dookie - any questions?
Have a great day!

For those of you who missed it, here is the result Karma’s efforts on behalf of our February Furbuster endeavor. Notice how she runs to anyone who says her name just in case they perhaps wanted to pet her - some more. She went away happily with complete strangers who offered her cookies and pets […]

Well, you’ll note by the date that it has taken me a while to recover from the expo. It was big fun, but man, I was wiped out! Turns out four hours of standing in a booth, “furbusting” your dog, is absolutely way more exhausting than it sounds. I took Dyson and Jester in for […]

Is, of course, Teak. I have never had to hide my food, and have always been able to leave unattended plates on tables and such. Cause, you know, my dogs are like, trained and stuff and know darn well that mommy doesn’t share and if you take her food she will chase you down and […]
